Perpetuo was part of the program of a large-scale acousmatic concert proposed in conjunction with the opening performance of the public art site-specific opera Triumphs & Laments by William Kentridge in Piazza Tevere (the area between Ponte Sisto and Ponte Mazzini) Tevereterno’s Young Composers Commission invited emerging composers to address Rome’s Tiber River as a unique setting for site-specific music. The national commission presented original sound works conceived and designed for the Piazza Tevere’s unique urban soundscape, creating music inspired by and responsive to the river and its context.

The listening space spreaded on 530x83 meters area and the sound was delivered by 24 high power speakers on 8 clusters on independent channels.
